Spaceship Earth
This installation is based on a moment captured from a previous enactment. An undulating horizon line emerges as the same image is printed, rearranged, and collaged directly onto the wall. Intentionally misusing the process of CMYK graphic reproduction, I relinquish accuracy and embrace the inherent variability of reproduction. The print collage becomes a formal investigation of visual chords which vibrate at frequencies of form and pattern. The swirl of colors and shapes creates a new environment for exploration of modified movements through wearable forms.
CMYK serigraphy on contact paper and butcher paper, collage on wall.
Approximately 3x36 feet.
LaVerne Krause Gallery. December 2015.
